2019-20 Classes and Registration

Old Timers Fencing Night - Drop-in rate: $15 (no registration required), announced throughout the season via the Facebook page

Beginner - Students: $110;  Non-students: $185, per semester

• A laid-back class for adults looking to learn the basic skills of fencing, get some general fitness in, and be engaged with a positive social group. This class includes Individual and Group Instruction from our accredited coaches. It also includes mingling with our Fit For Life Class, and the SFC Adult beginner class as means to expand your social and fencing network.
• 1-and-1/2 hour-long class for 7 weeks, offered 4 times per season
• Wednesdays, 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm
• Eligible to compete in Master Category Events at Local/Provincial tournaments. Must meet the Age criteria
• There are 4 offerings in 2018-19:
  • Semester 1 - Wednesday, September 11th, 2019 to Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019
  • Semester 2 - Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 to Wednesday, December 18th, 2019
  • Semester 3 - Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 to Wednesday, February 26th, 2020
  • Semester 4 - Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 to Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020

Regular - No Lesson - Students: $540;  Non-students: $900, per season 

• Intermediate, advanced drills and fencing footwork sessions are a regular part of this group.
• Open fencing Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
  • Monday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm,
  • Wednesday: 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm,
  • Saturday: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Requires an additional CFF/SFA license purchase - $130 CFF
• Eligible to Participate in Local/Provincial and out-of-province tournaments.
• Season starts Monday, September 9th, 2019 (no fencing on statutory holidays)
• Last day of fencing before Christmas break is Friday, December 20th, 2019
• Return from Christmas break - Monday, January 6th, 2020
• Last day of fencing before summer break - May 21st, 2020

• Intermediate, advanced drills and fencing footwork sessions are a regular of this group but also include one individual lesson with our certified coaches to improve and master techniques.
• Open fencing Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
  • Monday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm,
  • Wednesday: 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm,
  • Saturday: 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
• Requires an additional CFF/SFA license purchase - $130 CFF
• Eligible to Participate in Local/Provincial and out-of-province tournaments.

• For our most advanced fencers, or those who want to improve the quickest, 2 individual lessons a week on top of the Regular open sessions. This is a category for those who love to learn or who are driven to take fencing to the next level of sporting.

  • Monday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm,
  • Wednesday: 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm,
  • Saturday: 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
• Requires an additional CFF/SFA license purchase - $130 CFF
• Eligible to Participate in Local/Provincial and out-of-province tournaments.
